Grip Aid is an application developed by the
Quadriplegic Hand
Foundation.
a charitable organisation assisting quadriplegic by developing
new surgical techniques, including Tendon Transfer Surgery, FNS
implants and Grip-Aid.
All benefits flow to furthering research. Grip-Aid is a non toxic,
biodegradable and edible compound.
When applied to fingers and allowed to dry for 2 - 3 minutes the
thin film increases the friction resistance, thereby improving the
tenodesis grip of a paralysed hand. |
 |
It can significantly improve dexterity and security in grasping
heavy objects as well as holding pens, tools and utensils.
Samples can be obtained by communicating with us and we welcome
feedback from you about its use and value.
